Mama Peace is ready for anything that will happen, she's preparing her defense. A twist has occurred in the alleged slush accounts traced to the former First Lady, Patience Jonathan, with claims by her counsel that two of the accounts belonged to her late mother, Madam Charity Fyneface Oba.
The counsel, Mr. Charles Ogboli, also claimed that only three of the five accounts in dispute could be traced to the ex-First Lady and her mum.
Also, there were indications that some Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senators held a meeting on Thursday, where they vowed to back former President Goodluck Jonathan's wife in her suit against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over the freezing of about $19.8million in her accounts.
EFCC said they have acquired evidence indicating that the money are proceeds of corruption.
