Russia may return Edward Snowden to U.S. to "curry favor," says U.S. official

U.S. intelligence officials say Russia may return Edward Snowden to the United States as a "gift" to President Donald Trump, who once referred to the NSA document leaker as a "spy" and a "traitor" for whom the death penalty would be appropriate punishment.
