This weekend I rewatched Starship Troopers.
Robert Heinlein's OG book has long bee a favorite. The Paul Verhoeven take on Starship Troopers is a very different story in terms of technology, feel, and message. I love it MORE.
While the book is pretty strongly pro-military and pro-fascism, the movie is a massive lampoon of these ideas. The propaganda clips remain absolutely wonderful. The movie is worth rewatching!
