According to former Secret Service agent Jonathan Wackrow, the Secret Service started during the US Civil War to deal with the influx of counterfeit US money that the Southern states were printing and using in the Northern states. In this video, Wackrow shows you how to spot modern counterfeit money, which is of such high quality that banks often don't detect them.
