Despite my love of Smash Mouth memes, the band has been on my shitlist since they held a concert during the pandemic.
But I'm willing to ignore that just to indulge in this 6-minute "All Star" cover by Boston "bummer pop" band Future Teens. The track is from their upcoming EP, Sensitive Sessions, which has miraculously already sold out on vinyl. Somehow they took that bouncy Shrek bop and turned it into something gloriously sad, and I feel like it's appropriate for quarantine.
