Jerry Falwell Jr. resigns as head of Liberty University

Jerry Falwell Jr. just confirmed that he has resigned as head of Liberty University. He did so in the most disgusting and dishonorable way possible, by smearing the name of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior in his resignation. Jerry Fallwell, Jr., people. What a guy.

Jerry Falwell Jr. just confirmed to me he has submitted his resignation to Liberty's board.

I would not describe Jerry Falwell Jr.'s tenure as a university president nor his alleged threesome affair with his wife as being similar to the experiences of enslaved people/my ancestors. So, why that Negro spiritual was going through his head, I have no idea.
