"The Internet Show" was an hourlong PBS Special from 1995 that tried to de-mystify the then-still-fresh Internet for the general public. Amongst its many useful tips is that delightful scene (around 13 minutes in) where the host explains how to lie over email to get your creepy co-worker off your back.
